CARRY ON, ECHO

More theatre, more sound, and some myth! One of the described works potraying a female musician whose tormented fingers no longer play as they did, and the commentary of the men in her life before she ran afoul of the state are, at least in description, amazing. It is true as well that while "narcissus" found and "ism" "echo" did not, however, she did find an "lalia." Both Narcissus (image) and Echo (sound) became like much myth, figures that stand for "pathologies" in the Psychiatric pantheon. At least in the neoplatonic days of Sor Juana Ines De La Cruz there was "The Divine Narcissus" and Echo has become a sound effect employed increasingly on computers and in post production, altered by the SPACE which resounds (cathedral, well, etc). Narcissus is now a flower (beauty) and echo a sound effect (concrete).

AUDITORY PERCEPTION AND SOUND AS EVENT

In excellant auditory analyses on sound and acoustics you might look for the para on acousmatic sound and "inframe" and "off-frame" for these, as, in a radio drama, they represent similar to the onstage and offstage correlatives in theatre. The background noises, whether they are outside the reach of the proscenium arch's scope, the camera's wide angle fisheye lens, the ear's immediate scooplike shellshaped ears in the wireless box we called radio, our face rushing through clouds, or the flash screen with it's pixellated dimensions with which we are doomed to a "measured mathematical industry" and even now allows that we can only fabricate, as of yet, the immersion promised by computer pioneers. I like incidentally the colours and the words simplicity. The best site by far online for writing overall is Web Del Sol. Hopefully I will do some more work and link up with some people there.
As far as Red Velvet goes... we are open to becoming an "industrious cell" a "compound sentence and chancery" a "communal apocrypha." We are sifting EVEN today for those that might want to throw their hat (oh my!) into the ring as it were. Press Pass. Ceci N'est Pas Une Pipe. The play "Killers" is being foresworned now. I am visiting London, then we are doing
"Protest Live" although with different names. Propoganda is going to take the place of real art.
